    Lockheed Martin has been awarded $243 million contract from U.S. Air Force for JASSM cruise missile Lockheed Martin has received a U.S. Air Force contract valued at $243.5 million for an eighth production lot of the JASSM cruise missile. The award brings the total contracted quantities of the cruise missile to over 1,200. The Lot 8 contract is for 158 JASSM missiles, along with fuze reliability, parts obsolescence efforts, test instrumentation kits, system reliability and flight test support.     Raytheon Company has been awarded a $58.2 million contract for Patriot Guidance Enhanced Missile-Tactical, or GEM-T, missiles. The U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command (AAMCOM), Redstone Arsenal, Ala., issued the contract to upgrade 124 Patriot Advanced Capability-2 missiles to the configuration.     Raytheon wins $170 million contract for infrared-guided Maverick missiles from U.S. Army The U.S. Air Force awarded Raytheon Company a $170 million Foreign Military Sales contract to produce AGM-65D and AGM-65G2 infrared-guided Maverick air-to-surface missiles for the United Arab Emirates. The AGM-65 Maverick family of precision-attack missiles is used by the air, naval and marine forces of 33 countries.     	IAF orders 750 DRDO developed Akash SAMs The Indian Air Force (IAF) has ordered an additional 750 Akash medium-range surface-to-air missiles (SAMs) comprsing six squadrons from Bharat Electronics Ltd (BEL) at a cost of $925 million, Indian defence minister AK Antony announced today.
