Israeli defense firm, Elbit Systems announced yesterday that it has been awarded a $127 million contract to supply vehicular tactical radio systems to the “Army of a country in South Asia,” believed to be India. Elbit did not mention to which country the tactical radios will be sold to but the only country in South Asia which buys from Israel would be India and possibly Sri Lanka
L-3 Technologies has been tasked by the United States Navy with manufacturing and supporting the Hawklink AN/SRQ-4 secure communications system.
