SIBAT, the International Defense Cooperation Division of the Israel Ministry of Defense (IMOD), will be presenting various domestic companies at the Israel National Pavilion at the Singapore Air Show 2014.
"Israel considers Asia as a significant market and views expanded cooperation in the region as very important. The continuation and expansion of the partnership is also vital for the ongoing stability of all the countries in the region. In addition, Israeli defense companies have a proven ability to deliver technological solutions for the protection of national and maritime resources, according to the needs of the Asian countries. These specialized solutions and others, for the protection of land and sea borders, including EEZ, will be presented this year at the Israeli Pavilion,” Director of SIBAT, Brig. Gen. (IAF, Res.) Shmaya Avieli said.
At the Israel National Pavilion, the companies exhibiting will be Commtact Ltd., Elbit Systems, Hydromechanical Engineering (HEC), IAI - Israel Aerospace Industries, IMI - Israel Military Industries Ltd., Nir-Or, Rafael and Source of Sound (SOS).
Commtact Ltd. will present for the first time its AMLS - Advanced Mini Link System for manned and unmanned platforms. The system is lightweight (300 g), high speed, and long range, and enables full duplex wideband, digital link, error correction techniques, and high-rate communication in the Uplink (UPL) and Downlink (DNL) channels.
Elbit Systems will showcase TREASURES - a cutting-edge system which enables continuous force or border protection and enhanced situational awareness, including a real size Hermes 900; and the ANVIS/HUD24 featuring line-of-sight (LOS) – the new-generation system with enhanced day/ night situational awareness including LOS.
IAI will present its advanced 3D defense solutions - Detect-Decide-Defeat at the 2014 Singapore Air Show, in addition to its new and improved Medium-Altitude Long-Endurance unmanned aerial system, and will launch its cyber early warning research and development center.
IAI's display will also include unique multilayer intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance solutions, SIGINT, electro-optical, early-warning and radar technologies for every mission – from land to space. IAI's Tac4G – military 4G broadband, secure, cellular tactical network will also be presented. This innovative mobile solution for the fast deployment of military and security forces provides an advanced answer to their connectivity and communications needs, while allowing user access to multiple applications from a single device.
Rafael will present complete Air and Missile Defense Systems in hardware or a multimedia display. For the first time, the company will present the new member of its Air Defense Systems - the Iron Beam high energy laser-based system. In addition, the company will showcase its integrated air and missile defense systems including the Iron Dome, Spyder SR/MR, Python-5, and Derby; Precision Guidance Kits including the SPICE 250; Electro Optic and Communications systems including Reccelite, Litening, Imilite, BNET Family, and TacMax; Multi-Purpose, Tactical, Guided Missile Systems including the Spike Team Trainer; and, Land Systems including Rafael's combat-proven systems for survivability, lethality and maneuverability.
Source of Sound (SOS) will exhibit unique noise protection systems - electronic earplugs that regulate the noise on the battlefield, automatically reducing the noise level whether the sound originates from small arms, heavy weapons, or explosions including IEDs. The system protects soldiers from hearing loss, and enables them to perform their missions. In addition to passive and steady state noise control, the system provides intercom interoperability, clear communications, and sound localization for full situational awareness.
