Helibras recently delivered two EC725 helicopters to Brazil, making it total five owned by the Brazilian Air Force (FAB) and three by the Brazilian Army.
The 10th and 11th helicopters are part of the 50 ordered by the Brazilian Armed Forces.
The EC725s will carry out a wide range of missions ranging from troop transport and police patrol, to Search and Rescue.
Both aircraft were painted in a hangar built especially for heavy helicopters assembled in Brazil. The flight tests completed prior to delivery were performed by Brazilian pilots.
The first nine aircraft already delivered have successfully completed more than 4,370 flight hours.
Cassidian and Brazilian-based ATECH have signed a contract to jointly equip the new EC725 helicopters of the Brazilian Navy with an advanced mission management system. As part of the procurement of 50 EC725 helicopters by the Brazilian armed forces, Eurocopter and its Brazilian subsidiary Helibras signed a contract with ATECH and Cassidian to develop and manufacture the Tactical Data Management System (TDMS) for 8 navy helicopters

Eurocopter and Indonesian company PT Dirgantara Indonesia/Indonesian Aerospace signed a contract for the supply of six EC725. With delivery scheduled for 2014, Indonesian Aerospace will customize and deliver these combat search and rescue configured helicopters to the Indonesian Air Force under a contract signed with the Indonesian Ministry of Defence last month
Malaysian Defence Ministry issues Letter of Acceptance to Eurocopter for the supply 12 EC725 helicopters for search and rescue (SAR) missions. Eurocopter Senior Executive Vice President Philippe Harache said the helicopters, to be operated by the Royal Malaysian Air Force, are scheduled for initial delivery in 2012, followed by the remainder of this fleet over a period of two years
