"Rod is an exceptional leader with a proven track record of driving program excellence, leading complex technical projects and delivering outstanding results for a broad range of U.S. and international customers," said Lockheed Martin Chairman, President and CEO Marillyn Hewson. ROD has worked with Lockheed Martin for 27 years.

As CTO, Jackson is responsible for overseeing the Corporation's advanced technology strategy and the maturation of future innovations. He is also responsible for managing Martin's research and development relationships with colleges and universities, industry and international partners, and the U.S. government science and technology community.
