Rosoboron to display aircraft, choppers and ADs at Dubai Airshow 2015
Russian Rosoboronexport is hoping to attract buyers from Middle Eastern countries at the Dubai Air Show.
The company is showcasing major aerial and AD systems that include Su-35 and MiG-29M/M2 multi-role fighters, Yak-130 combat-trainer, IL-76MD-90A military transport aircraft, Ka-52 attack helicopter, Mi-35M transport-combat helicopter, Mi-17 military transport helicopters, and various AD systems that include Pantsir-S1 missile and gun complex and hopes to get export orders in the region, Rosoboronexport said in a statement Friday.
Rosoboronexport expects the event to offer opportunities for negotiations with the delegations from the UAE, Kuwait, India, South Africa, Malaysia, Bahrain, Egypt, Iraq, Indonesia, Jordan, Oman, etc.
“We are facing growing military-technical cooperation with Mid-eastern and North African countries. Aside for what we are already used to deliver there, several aerial and AD equipment started getting more interest, something we hope will grow into new business opportunities. Russian-made helicopters and aircraft proved their effectiveness in large-scale anti-terrorist operations all over the world. Our Arab partners are cognizant of their air-superiority and ground precision strike capabilities, which contributes to our marketing advantages,” Mikhail Zavaliy, Rosoboronexports Director General Advisor and the head of the Russian Delegation, said.
