France has delivered three more Rafale fighter jets to Egypt of the 24 it bought in February last year.
Egypt received its first three rafale fighters in July last year.
Egypt signed a deal with France for single FREMM frigate from DCNS, 16 two seater Rafale and eight single-seater Rafale on February 16 this year. The contract also included Air-to Air Missile, Scalp cruise missile by MBDA and Sagem.
India has sought for a fresh price quote from France on the purchase of 36 Dassault Rafale Fighters which is lower than US$ 9 billion which has been talked about earlier. This could mean the deal is back to square one as fresh price quote will mean the entire process will have to negotiated afresh, The Tribune News Daily reported Thursday
