The uniforms were introduced to the public for the first time in conjunction with the Air Force's 58th Anniversary march-past ceremony at the Kuantan Air Base today, Bernama reported.

RMAF Chief, Gen Tan Sri Roslan Saad said the uniform, which could be used during field training, operations and drills, had modern features, besides looking more neat and smart.

The new uniform, which replaced the previous one in use for more than 20 years, "will be able to enhance the image of the RMAF, in line with the expansion of its functions and operations currently", he told reporters at the ceremony.
