Kratos Defense & Security Solutions has partnered with Finland’s Robonic Ltd Oy to deliver Robonic’s third-generation launcher to support US Army drone requirements.
Under the Kratos-MRC prime contract, Kratos-MRC and Safran's subsidiary Robonic will deliver two KONTIO launchers to the U.S. Army PEO STRI Targets Management Office (TMO), which will be used to launch Firejet high-performance aerial targets supplied by Kratos-MRC sister company Composite Engineering, Inc. (CEi).
“We are pleased to support our TMO customer by providing exceptional products and services utilized in their global advanced target drone operations,” said Kratos DRSS President, Dave Carter, in a statement Thursday.
