Saab has signed a two-year agreement with General Tadeusz Kosciuszko Military Academy of Land Forces in Wroclaw (WSOWL), Poland, to deliver a high fidelity Tactical Engagement Simulation System (TESS).

This initial order will provide the future officers with training system, which offers interoperability options within NATO and beyond, the company said in a statement Friday.

The laser-based TESS capability that will be delivered is drawing on over 35 years of tactical engagement simulation design, delivery and support expertise and a demonstrated track record of delivering on time and on budget, to most countries within NATO.

With this system, WSOWL can conduct realistic combat training using small arms and anti-tank weapons laser simulators and evaluate the results of exercises. The live training system from Saab has been developed and continuously modernized with experience.
