An Australian cyber security delegation, who currently is on a four-day visit to India, is eyeing to partner with the Asian country's Information Technology firms to offer next generation cybersecurity capabilities for global clients.
The cyber security delegation from Australia is on visit to India beginning from Monday. The delegation is meeting India’s leading IT companies with the intention of partnering with them, who integrate Australian cyber security solutions into their supply chain.
The delegation is visiting Chennai, Bengaluru, Mumbai and New Delhi, Asian News International reported today.
Further the intention also includes offering advanced Australian capabilities in cyber security for the Indian IT industry.
Indian cyber security watchdog Indian Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT-In) has observed rise in the number of cyber attacks this year and have tracked about 39,730 incidents till October. Similarly, a total number of 44,679 Cyber security incidents were detected in 2014, meanwhile 49,455 incidents occurred in 2015, IT and Law minister Ravi Shankar Prasad told Loksabha today
