Sikorsky Wins $304 Million CH-53K Heavy-lift Helicopter LRIP Contract

Sikorsky is being awarded $303.9 million modification contract for the Lot I low-rate initial production of two CH-53K Heavy Lift helicopters for the US Navy.

The contract also includes associated aircraft and programmatic support, logistics support, peculiar support equipment, and spares, US department of defense said in a statement Thursday.

Work is expected to be completed in December 2021.
