Honeywell was awarded $64.8 million performance based logistics requirements contract for repair, replacement, and program support for auxiliary power units used on F/A-18 A/G models, P-3, and C-2 aircraft.

The contract also includes providing coverage for the main fuel controls and the electronic control unit used on the F/A-18, and the P-3 engine driven compressor.  The modification includes a two-year period of performance and will bring the total estimated contract value to $248.8 million, the US department of Defense said in a statement Thursday.

Work is expected to be completed by August 2019.
