Rolls-Royce has won a $420 million contract, for AE 3007H (F137) engine-sustainment services for Canada.

This contract provides for maintenance, repair and overhaul of the engine, as well as program management and sustaining engineering services.  Work is expected to be completed June 30, 2024, the US department of defense said in a statement Wednesday.

The contract was awarded last Friday.

The AE 3007 engines power the Cessna Citation X and X+ and the Embraer Legacy 600 and Legacy 650 business jets according to the company website.

The business jet variants are the AE 3007C series for the Cessna Citation aircraft and the AE 3007A1 and AE 3007A2 series that have evolved with the Embraer airframe from the airline to business jet market.
