Controp Precision Technologies has been awarded a contract to equip an Asian country's coast guard with iSea EO/IR surveillance system at the ongoing at the ongoing Aero India 2019 airshow.
The systems will be deployed on several maritime vessels beginning in 2019 for territorial water protection missions, the company said in a statement Wednesday.
The name of the contracting country and the value of the deal has not been disclosed.
The surveillance systems include a long-range thermal camera, a high definition (HD) visible surveillance camera and an eye-safe laser range finder (ELRF). In addition, the system features advanced image processing and video enhancement algorithms, automatic video tracker (AVT) and an automatic gain control (AGC).
The iSea system features a stabilization technology that enables a continuous and uninterrupted line-of-sight (LOS) to ensure clear pictures. It can withstand fog, salinity and moisture, the company stated further.
