Raytheon Wins $500M for Research on US’ Surveillance Radars

Missile Defense Agency has awarded Raytheon a $500.6 million modification contract to perform research and development support for the Army Navy Transportable Radar Surveillance Control Model-2 and Sea-Based X-Band radar.

The new contract increases the total ceiling value of the contract from to $962 million, the US Department of Defense said in a statement Monday.

The modification also includes continued product improvement, warfighter support, engineering services, Ballistic Missile Defense System test subject matter experts (SME) support, modeling and simulation SME support, and cybersecurity. No task orders are being issued at this time.
