Javelin, Northrop 30mm Cannon Fired From Oshkosh JLTV For The First Time

Javelin anti-tank, guided munition and surveillance weapon system and Northrup Grumman lightweight 30mm cannon have been fired from Oshkosh Defense Joint Light Tactical Vehicle (JLTV) for the first time.

The Javelin flight test was conducted from a Kongsberg remote weapon station the JLTV at the Redstone Test Center in Redstone Arsenal, Alabama, the company said in a statement Monday.

The Javelin munition is made by the Javelin Joint Venture, a partnership between Raytheon Company and Lockheed Martin.
