Some 2600 Ukrainians, 498 Russian Soldiers Killed During Invasion: Russian MoD

The Russian Ministry of Defense (MoD) today announced that some 2800 Ukrainian nationals and security forces are killed and 3700 wounded during the current invasion of Russia into Ukraine
In addition, some 498 Russian servicemen are killed and 1597 injured, according to the spokesperson of the Russian Ministry of Defense, Igor Konashenkov.
“Unfortunately, there are losses among our comrades participating in the special military operation. 498 Russian servicemen died in the line of duty. All possible assistance is being provided to the families of the victims,” Konashenkov said in comments quoted by the Russian MoD’s official TV Channel, tvzvezda.TV.
“According to confirmed data, the number of captured military personnel of the law enforcement agencies of Ukraine is 572 people,” the spokesperson said.

Ukrainian reports said some 3000 Russian servicemen have died.
