Russian Missiles Attack Foreign Mercenaries’ Training Ground in Ukraine, 80 Killed: Kremlin

The Russian Ministry of Defense claimed to have attacked a training center for foreign mercenaries in Ukraine’s Rivno region with its high-precision air-launched cruise missiles, killing 80 people.

In a regular press briefing Monday, Igor Konashenkov said the attack on the Novaya Lubomirka training ground took place in the intervening night of March 20-21.

The attack was confirmed by the Ukrainian side. “According to preliminary data, several people have been wounded. More detail will be reported later,”Rivne Mayor Oleksandr Tretyak posted on Telegram.

Konashenkov added that Russian missiles also destroyed an ammunition depot and the headquarters of a mechanized brigade in the area of ​​​​the village of Selets.

“During the night, operational-tactical and army aircraft hit 44 military facilities of Ukraine,” Konashenkov said.

The Russian defense ministry claims it destroyed hundreds of Ukrainian military equipment including 216 drones, 180 air defense systems, 1506 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 152 MLRS, 592 field artillery guns and mortars, as well as 1284 units of military automotive special equipment.
