General Dynamics To Configure 150 A1A1 Battle Tank Into Situational Awareness For Morocco
M1A1 Abrams Main Battle Tank

General Dynamics Land Systems has won a $358 million foreign military sales contract US Department of defense for conversion of M1A1 Abrams main battle tank to the M1A1 situational awareness configuration for Morocco. 

Work will be performed in Lima, Ohio, with an estimated completion date of Feb. 28, 2018, the company announced Monday. 

One bid was solicited with one received. Fiscal 2010 other procurement funds in the amount of $11,975,143 were obligated at the time of the award. 

Army Contracting Command, Warren, Michigan, is the contracting activity.
