"Drone Guard": Drone Detection and Disruption Counter UAV Systems
Elta has been awarded a not-to-exceed $39 million contract action for counter unmanned aerial system supplies.
This contract provides counter unmanned aerial system in support of US Strategic Command joint emergent operational needs, the US department of defense said in a statement Thursday.

Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI) revealed the Drone Guard, new systems for drone detection, identification and flight disruption at the Singapore Airshow in 2016. Elta North America is a subsidiary of IAI.
In order to disrupt the hostile UAV, ELTA has developed adaptive jamming systems which can be used along with its detection and identification sensors, or as a continuously operated stand-alone system. The jamming disrupts the drone's flight and can either cause it to return to its point-of-origin (‘Return Home function) or to shut down and make a crash landing, according to the company website.
Israeli Aerospace Industries (IAI) unit Elta's ELM-2022A maritime patrol radar will be installed in 16 aircraft to be supplied to Canada's search and rescue service.
IAI has announced that it was recently awarded a new contract...
